Ready for the Matsuri

So, as summer is slowly getting here, it seemed appropriate that he (she, whatever!) have a good outfit to wear.

Random bits of fabric that I had floating around, and all hand sewn. The gritty details are in the Artisan Crafts submission, if you are curious.

I just love this picture - it's what I could never do with any of my other doll pictures with my previous cameras. There is something about the quality of the light that exposes in an SLR camera, that you just can't get anywhere else.

Doll photos are now just one more reason that I love my new camera
