?Elf

A shot of my new doll, a Luts MiniFae ShuShu Elf (limited). She's a 1/4 scale doll (43cm doll), so she's significantly smaller than my other dolls, which I (for some dumb reason) wasn't expecting. I like this size doll a lot, though - she feels more, I dunno, portable, like I'm not so afraid of carrying her around as I am with the larger dolls.

Anywho, she is supposed to look like a dryad - I made her wig, her dress (which still needs a bit of beading, I just decided ) and painted her face.

The dress is supposed to look like a tree, and it's all wavy at the bottom, so when she's standing on a flat surface, it looks like tree roots. I can't wait to make more outfits for her

Her face is kinda blue/green, because I do want to be able to put some water-esque clothing on her, too, and not have it clash horribly. And, you can't tell in the picture, but her face is very shimmery - I used irridescent pigments for the eyeshadow and blushing. It's so pretty!

Posed in front of my Japanese Maple tree, she looks really great, because the red makes her green coloring pop out. I love that spot for pictures of her, now.

I still haven't decided on a name for her, which is why there's the ? in the title. I'm still in a bit of a debate over it - hopefully, she'll be named shortly!
