My personal favorite picture so far to come out of Grant Park random photography.

Can't you tell I'm missing summer? *pokes 2 feet of snow out front and 3.5 foot drifts in the back yard*

So, I needed a distraction to kind of try to perk up, so I updated my stock account (~taeliac-stock) with a bunch of pictures I had taken randomly throughout the year that I just hadn't gotten a chance to get up there. And then, I came across this picture.

I never forgot about it - in fact, I think of this a lot, whenever I think of the summer and green plants and waterfalls... *sigh*

Taken in Grant Park (2007), by myself, in a location I had never, ever thought to take pictures of before, until this rainy, overcast day...

All of the stonework throughout this park makes me happy to live so close to it, I need to go take more pictures of it. The waterfall is just wonderfully beautiful, too, in summer and winter.
