WIP : Boot Cuffs : 02

One thing that has really irked me about Steampunk is that most people seem to not pay attention to details (or, they go the other way, and have so many details that it's just like a craft store puked them out, which is another matter...)

Anywho. These are boot cuffs, to adorn the back (or, as i found out by accident, the front) of boots to really jazz them up. Ya know, just finding a pair of boots isn't enough, you really gotta do something fun with them. Spats are definitely awesome, but these are kind of more like spurs, and I think that makes them even more awesome, if I do say so myself.

These are the cuffs on one of my pairs of boots for reference on how I was thinking to wear them. They also look fantastic from the front, and they look pretty damned cool wearing them higher up, too, where the boot flaps would be on fold-down boots. Fuck yeah for versatility!

These are painted, stained, and sealed. The clock hands in the middle are riveted in place, and lightly shaped (so that you don't stab anyone wearing them )
