So, this is a (small) preview of my latest Steampunk set - this time, though, it wasn't built for me (hence you're actually seeing a picture of it).

Inspiration hit... Wednesday, according to my Twitter account, and I just had to make these pieces!

I just took the pictures, and I'm working on getting through them all, but I thought I'd upload this one because I really like it, and I think it's a good taste of the outfit!

It's a fully lined, tailed bodice (not corset) along with a fully lined crop jacket.

High class style!

The bodice with the tails laces up the front, making it adjustable (and I can make a matching modesty placket if it would help, if you don't intend on wearing a shirt with it!) with long tails in the back.

Oddly enough, it would also look awesome as a Renaissance Faire bodice, depending on the colors, and maybe making the tails in the back more like a bustle bit...

I forgot to put the white dress shirt underneath, but I have another sample in a different fabric that I'll remember to put the shirt on with (no jacket in that size, though...). It really looks fabulous with just a plain, white button up shirt!

And, I'll put here for anyone reading this: The first 3 commissions I get on either the jacket, or the bodice (or both...) I'll do at a discount. And I'll do them with payment plans - I'm not sure I'll be able to do that in the future. It's just that I'm utterly broke at the moment, and desperate for anything right now

So. If you would like one of these pieces (even after I get more pictures up... but now would be a good time to look into it) lemme know. It will be made in your size, and you'll be able to pick the color(s), but not necessarily the specific fabrics. That you're going to have to leave up to my creative self~ we'll discuss it all, though, if you're interested!

Or, if you want this one, it's a size 8, approximately. I'll have a size 12 one pictured tomorrow, in a pretty plum purple and gold fabric that I really can't describe, cuz it's so weird~

The skirt'll be finished one of these days, and I'll get pictures of that, too - it's a silk noil "Steampunk utility skirt." I'll show all the different ways it can be worn and bustled up, but I think we counted 27 different possibilities, all with a different look!
