PROP: Temari Fan v.2 - Naruto

I just realized that we never uploaded the newer images of the Temari fan, so here they are!

These pictures show the dots a lot better than the other one's, and the color of them as well. Plus, the size of this fan; It's so huge!

What we do is paint the base fan with a bunch of very thin coats of a flexible white paint, so that when you open and close the fan, the paint won't chip off - that was a very, very large miff of ours about other people's props -- you can always see that the paint on the main fan part is chipping off after a while.

Then, we paint the dots on, which unfortunately might crack after a while of use, although it's a very thin coat, so not as likely.

At the same time, we take the staves out of the fan, and stain them closer to black than they come. Put it all back together, and *viola* 15 hours later, you have Temari's fan!

Tedious? Yes.
Fun to carry around? You bet.
