Kimono Jewelry: Choker : 01

Well, this weekend I was just puttering around and playing with some pieces of kimono fabric I hadn't cut into yet, trying to think of what to do with them.

Then, I was cleaning up a bit, and ran across a bunch of velvet ribbon that ~wickitwist had given me at Geek.Kon, and knew I had to do something with the green ribbon, and the pretty new kimono fabric I had started working with!

So... yes! That is how this came to be, in my normal long, rambling sort of way...

This one isn't silk, unfortunately, but it was too pretty of a kimono to pass up, so what the heck I love the colors of it, and it really reminds me of spring (as we are preparing to get more snow, I think...)
