I did this just for the heck of it. I had the fabric on hand, and I ordered a green pleated skirt from French Toast, so in the future, I'll be buying premade pleated skirts whenever I can. Sure, it costs a bit more, but saves me the time, so in the end, it's the same price!

I took a bunch of pictures of the collar for a tutorial, which I'll do when I have the time for it ^___^ Overall, this collar lays so beautifully that I wish I had made it in my size, although I don't usually wear the costumes that much... I love it though! I'm happy I finally got to make another Kagome outfit!

What fabric did you use for the shirt? Looks like a type of dancewear spandex.

It's actually a mid-weight knit, kind of like a thicker t-shirt fabric - I can't remember what exactly, but just heavier knit, not dancewear :3

The cosplay is great! All your costumes are, but I have one peeve with it. On the summer uniform it only has One signal green line. Sure the cuff looks better. But hey, don't get me wrong I am a perfectionist when it comes to cosplay. ^_^ Reference pic: [link]

Wow! I hadn't even noticed that! The original commissioner who sent me the commission for it said that the sleeve was green with the white line, and gave me a manga scan, I believe (I honestly can't remember too much - it was ages ago

Well glad i could help ^_^ I made my costume prior the the manga. It should be around the chapter or just look at the episode "the soul piper and the mischievous little soul." Should be the one right after the thunder demon brothers.

Is the tutorial you wrote about in the description already online somewhere?
I want to make Kagome's school uniform but also have it as accurate as possible to normal Japanese Junior High uniforms (I only went to Japanese Senior High and we didn't have this kind of uniform, and no-one I knew was in Junior High) .

No, I'm sorry! I never got to make the tutorial - I have plans on doing it still, but time hasn't been too kind to me lately! If you are just looking for the uniform, I would think that you could research Junior High uniforms pretty easily on the Internet, to make it accurately - I don't know if my method of putting on the collars is the correct way or not, it is just how I figured to do it
