Hair Sticks : Childhood Dream

Just a small idea that went a little crazy this weekend, and I'm having fun making these as well as the kimono jewelry

These are made from chopsticks, but not the one's stolen from your local Chinese restaurant. They're really nice, and don't splinter at all (I eat with these type all the time).

They're covered in fabric about half way down, and then beads and whatnot are dangled from them, because I have a bead fetish.

These are actually meant to be worn in your hair - if you wear them both horizontally (so they both stick out from the sides of your head, as opposed to the top) they look friggin' awesome! The dangles sparkle, and some of them jingle, and it's just fun! _{You do get odd looks, though, so just warnin' ya.}

I'm considering just vending stuff like this at small conventions, because explaining to hundreds of people "No, they are not made in China. No, they are made to fit you. Yes, they are more expensive..." for hours on end is just... well, it burns me out quickly.

Plus, I could sit by the awesome ~wickitwist and we could share supplies/bitch/listen to music for a con!
