Description
Another new design, this one based off of all the Koi-no-bori we saw for Boy's Day last year (pictures I realized I have not uploaded pretty much anywhere, so those will be coming soon, too...) A series of koi fish earrings in five different colors (left to right: red/traditional, purple, black, blue, green). These are based off of actual giant koi banners that I have pictures of from last spring, designs, colors, everything. The tail hangs separately from the main body, so they flutter around when you wear them, and they're on big fish hook earring hooks! All done in Delica beads, and stitched together with a brick stitch.
A few other shots of them, yes forgive me for being the one to wear them.
Also, you can see the other, larger koi pendant I'm working on that is totally just like one of the banners :3
And another one, a shot of part of our apartment (sorry for clutter!) that shows what one of the koi banners looks like.
I may be selling these earrings in the near future, or perhaps even the patterns for them, who knows?
