The entrance to the Komo Shrine 「薦神社」 is an ancient looking stone torii, a tōrō (stone lantern) and a pillar that I have no idea what it's called - anyone out there know?

At the beginning of December, we decided to go take some pictures. My husband had mentioned that he bikes past a few shrines on his way to one of his schools, so we grabbed the camera bag and headed out. It turns out, this is a rather large Hachiman shrine, the Komo Hachiman Shrine 「薦神社」I cannot wait to go back again to get more pictures!
