Bao Yukata: Fun Blue Print

Well, I decided to draft out the entire pattern (the last one was done on the fabric, which then got sewn up, ya know how it goes ) on paper and make a final trial of the pattern!

I've been tring to find an excuse to use this fabric for a while now - I just love it! I thought of with corsets, but since I haven't had a chance to work on corsets in ... gawd, what seems like forever ... this was a good excuse!

This is off of the "final" pattern, which, if you're mildly curious, is available on my Etsy store. I wrote out detailed instructions and everything!

I also did this one as an experiment - while a regular sewing machine liked to eat my fabric on a regular basis, the new industrial straight didn't for some odd reason. I have no clue why, but it sewed this perfectly! Go figure

I'm actually thinking of perhaps selling "kits", too, for this outfit - like, enough fabric to make one, the pattern, and the ribbon for the skirt and the obi sash. Whatchoo think?
