Bamboo Fairy Forest

The bamboo forest part of Beppu Park, all lit up at night for the Sentoumyou festival, with lanterns hanging like fairy lights all around.

My images from the Beppu Sentoumyou festival (1,000 candles, I believe) in Beppu Park. At night, the candles were all lit, and the park began to glow like a fairy land with thousands of lanterns made by local school children, as well as a few larger art installations by contemporary artists in the area.
