Autumn Gardens Wa-Loli AniGif by taeliac Autumn Gardens Wa-Loli AniGif by taeliac
:star: Non spinning, higher detailed still pictures can finally be found with this deviation :D :star:

My internet access is being dodgy today, but I figured I'd plunk this up here now while I have a free minute or three.

I've started just using my camera on a tripod, and shooting with the remote - it allows me to have a bit more control over the dressform without needing another person to help :D

This one was just too funny - I hadn't realized I took so many, but they worked oddly decently in a gif!

So, you can see this outfit in a pseudo-full-360 animation :D

I had cut out this kimono like a month ago, from fabric I purchased... wow, probably close to 3 years ago! I hadn't planned on the bodice thing to being with, but I'm happy I quick drafted it out - it was going to lace up the front originally, but... it just didn't look right.

And I'm thinking of replacing the white lacing with black, or brown, I just didn't have any suitable ribbons on hand, and thought white *might* work. I don't think it does...

Anywho, finished this a few days ago, and just got a chance to take pictures of it. I'll upload a full deviation of the outfit when I get a chance, with all of the details on it!

I must say, your color and fabric choices on this one are just exquisite! Very fall/autumn like. :) Almost reminds me of something out of FireFly. :D

pretty cool but a bit fast - I've read your other comments so I know you'll have a go at taking more pics so you can do a slower gif ;)

:giggle: Why thank you for reading them :giggle:

I like the idea of it, at least - not to mention, it's pretty easy to do, just sitting there and spinning the dressform and clicking - I'm in love with a camera with a remote ;P

You're welcome

I love the idea - I just need to get my infinity curtain set up, dress forms that revlove easily and a half decent camera... Oh and the time to learn how to make the gif and then the time to put it all into practise ;)

I love this kimonoooooooo 8D! It looks kind of odd, a bit japanese but also a bit occidental style.Don't really know how to explain, haha.

I'd like to try it x)!! It's very in"autumn-mood", the colors are beautiful.

Hehe, yep! It's a top, a bodice (corset-like top), an underskirt and an overskirt - I'm thinking about adding a petticoat, but I don't know that it really needs it! :D

Thank you!! :glomp:

I got one question though. This Wa-Loli... does the corset attached to the outfit itself? Or is it separated? I noticed the small gap on top of the corset (not a bad thing. I just noticed it) and I suddenly I thought about that.

Hehe! It's not attached to it, I figured it would be more comfortable (and, the top could be worn for regular wear with jeans or whatnot) if it wasn't attached together ;P

 I agree. I had my costume done with corset separated. I feel that I could use the corset for other outfit. :3

:giggle: I'm definitely thinking it's important to have the regular one's there - the gif is funny, but you loose a lot of details in it, because they're so limited~

very pretty piece too. I actually like the light colored ribbon. I makes the lighter flowers in the print become highlighted.

Orange/terracotta ribbons, to tie in with the orange in the floral fabric. I think the design feature of the corset ties needs to be picked up and acknowledged, not blended in.

Good work with the gif. I am mezmerized...!
