So, today's random flood of jewelry bits are my personal favorites.

Some of you who have been watching me for ages (or know me IRL) probably know that ~kellin's grandparents live in the Bahamas (how cool is that?!... and technically, I think they're my "grandparents in law" - is that even a title? ^^ But, they're great people and so nice... anywho...) and a few years ago, we went down there to visit.

I picked up so much beach glass it wasn't even funny. I was collecting like it was a hot commodity that was about to run out (which they find funny, because that's not even remotely true...) and picked up so much that I had to pay extra on my baggage coming back, it weighted more than they allow ^^

And... I had meant to do all of this cool wire wrapping stuff on it, like I see a lot of people do.

And then I tried.

And failed so miserably I stashed the glass away for ages, because it made me sad every time I thought about how much I sucked at doing jewelry stuffs with it, like I had wanted. I pulled it out again while cleaning, and decided to give it another go - I'm happy I did!

I have now discovered that, as long as it doesn't involve wire wrapping, I can do some jewelry stuffs. I just fail at wire ;P

These are pieces of naturally dinged, broken, and sanded down sea glass - I didn't do anything to it's shape or how matte/shiny it is; it was all done by the ocean, which makes me happy, as I'm very much a water person :D

I hoard my blue, blue-green, and the like colored glasses like crazy. I can't help it - they are just too pretty, that I'm afraid I'm going to muck them up.

This was the first I did in some sort of color that wasn't green or clear (which I have the most glass of). And, it was hard to figure out what to do with such an odd shape - eventually, though, it worked out.

Oddly enough, the glass wasn't the issue at all - the stupid idea I had for hanging it, in an inverted "Y" shape, however, drove me to insanity and back, because it just didn't want to work! The piece isn't symmetrical, so getting it to hang right was just... argh! Frustrating, to no end!!

There is a Swarvoski in the little dangle in front of the pendant, and one on the tip of the glass as well, because the accent was what this needed to really make that point stand out and be dramatic :D

((and, yes, when I do get these for sale, there will be more photos of them where you can see more of the details clearer))

The earrings were meant to just be somewhat similar, from a line I was working on to go with these pendants, I think I was going to call them "Lantern Lights" but I'm not sure yet...

This (as well as most of the random Steampunk pendants) is on an antique brass chain necklace.

This, as well as about a dozen others, will be available at Geek.Kon, and then, if they don't sell, they'll be up on Etsy after that.

If you want one, though, lemme know in a note or an email~
